There is a small natural cove approximately 10 minutes walk from the apartment - very quiet, no facilities. For miles of golden sands, safe swimming, watersports, sunbeds, umbrellas, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops - Peniscola is the place! Catch the local bus in high season, or drive along the coast road into town.
The surrounding National Park of Sierra d'Irta is a wonderful place for photography, walking and cycling all year round.
A car is recommended for this location. There is a private parking space for one vehicle.
The small urbanisation - with its own pool, a separate children's paddling pool and safe play area set amongs level lawns - nestles into the hillside. There are stairs and a lift to all areas and level paths lead to the steps down to the pools, play area and lawns. Just a short walk takes you to local bars and restaurants, a small supermarket and the bus stop for the regular bus into Peniscola - from June-September. There is also another local swimming pool/bar complex with 2 pools, 3 tennis courts and crazy golf -all of which may be used for approximately 10 Euros a day during high season.
This apartment is light and airy and benefits from being on the end of the block and boasts a wonderful large roof terrace as well as a sheltered patio off the main living area.
Accommodation: two bedrooms, one double with fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets; one twin bedded room with fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinet. There is a bathroom - with shower over the bath, wash hand basin, bidet and WC - and a shower room with basin and WC.
The apartment has air-conditioning for the summer and heating for the cooler winter months.
The lounge area is spacious and has patio doors out onto the lower patio which is ideal for enjoying alfresco dining at the large glass topped table. There is a flight of steps up onto the huge rooftop sun terrace which offers fabulous views over the surrounding area. Sun loungers/parasol provided.
The living area is all open plan with a lounge area at one end with comfortable seating and sofa bed. The dining table is centrally situated - with seating for 4. A small breakfast bar separates the living area from the kitchen which is well equipped with microwave, ceramic hob, electric oven, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. All cooking utensils, pots and pans, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided.
All bedding (duvets & sheets) and towels are provided (NOT beach/swimming towels). Linen changed weekly - payable locally.
Welcome Packs and Beach Towel hire available (7€/towel/week) - payable locally. Please state requirements at the time of booking.
